My name is Christian Dybkjær Olesen and I am 28.

Before I started working for dahlberg in 2004, I used to work as an underwriter for one of Denmark’s largest insurance companies.

I started working for dahlberg because it combines the chance for daily client contact while allowing me to keep up the connection with the insurance companies. dahlberg offers a host of personal development opportunities and it’s easy to get assignments in your specialty areas if that’s what you want.

Today I head up our international business division in Copenhagen. I handle contact with our international arm as well as clients and companies in Denmark. So I write and speak a lot of English every day, which means I am constantly developing my language skills.

dahlberg is a great workplace with plenty of pleasant, helpful colleagues. There are a wealth of opportunities for personal development – through the work itself, training courses and language development, because, as I’ve already mentioned, English is an important part of our daily work.

The industry is in constant development which means you have to keep pushing yourself, by assuming more responsibility, for example, or taking on new and challenging assignments.
